James back with you again, this time to talk about the Boogatooth Whitelist 😎
We’ve put a mammoth amount of time into discussing how best to expand the community.
The Mint: Free & For the Culture 🔥
As you probably know by now, it will be a free mint on ETH.
More precisely, we’re going with a “pay what you want” model. This incentivizes donations but absolutely doesn’t enforce them (more on that later). The key takeaway here is that nobody gets priced out. This approach also kicks the doors wide open for epic collabs, putting Boogas right on center stage in Web3 💪
Curation: Quality Meets Fun
With a free mint, the discussion quickly turns to curation. How do we attract the right quality of people to match our existing, boogtastic community? We’re looking for collectors who are here because they truly love the art, the IP, and want to be a part of this special movement.
Beyond that, how do we curate the WL in a way that stands out and is actually FUN?
If you minted a Booga in the early days, chances are you did the Booga Trials. That was a blast! We thought about running it back, but we decided to build something new... something bigger.
We landed on an idea that is truly EPIC. I can’t wait to share it with you soon, but I really think we SMASHED IT 🌋
How to Snag Your WL Spot
While the main public route for WL will be over-allocated and FCFS, we are hitting the grind to personally seek out and invite high-quality people in the space.
Here are the different ways you can lock down your Boogatooth WL spot:
Hold a Booga: We couldn’t make this easier for our existing community to secure their spots. Simply join Booga Town and spin for it! As always, we just want to reward active participation... we aren’t trying to keep anyone out ❤️ If you’re not in there yet, make it happen!
Team Invites: We’ll be on the grind handing out direct invites to active legends in the space.
Collabs: We’ll be allocating spots to communities that share similar values to Boogas.
Giveaways: A small, exclusive number of spots.
The Main Route: The epic new method teased above (details TBA!).
